 Ralph Laughton is Managing Director of Dolman Legal Recruitment. In this role he is responsible for in house and private practice senior search and recruitment projects within Australia and international legal markets.
Ralph’s practice as a strategic advisor is directed toward implementation of client law firms practice group growth strategies designed to broaden or deepen their legal service capabilities and competitive market advantage.
Ralph’s experience within the legal search and recruitment industry together with his proven track record in developing strategic relationships with law firm managing partners, practice group managing partners and other influential legal professionals serves as a platform from which Dolman will continue to expand its Australian and international market presence.
Prior to joining Dolman, Ralph worked eleven years in management positions with two major national legal recruitment firms. In his most recent capacity as Vice President of Special Counsel, the largest provider of legal recruitment and staffing services in the United States, Ralph was responsible for managing multiple offices that provided search and recruitment services for lawyers and also law firm profit driven workflow contract staffing for e-discovery and document review projects.
Ralph launched his legal career as a lawyer in private practice before joining the legal recruitment industry. He holds a Bachelor of Business and Professional Studies, summa cum laude (first class honours) from Barry University and earned his law degree from the University of Miami, School of Law in Florida.
Ralph is a member of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association, the Australian Institute of Management and Society of Human Resource Management.
